Cameron Smith


Cameron is an associate in Boughton Law’s Tax, Trusts & Estates group. Cameron advises clients and assists senior counsel on a wide range of matters primarily related to tax planning, tax disputes, corporate law and estates matters. He has a keen interest in helping individuals, families, and private businesses as they respond to current legal issues and plan for their future success.

Cameron obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in 2016 where he completed a double major in International and General Management (Managing for Sustainability). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 where he focused on the Tax Law Curricular Stream. Throughout his time at Osgoode Hall, Cameron worked with a leading tax law professor on several research projects, presentations, and to co-author a paper which was published in the Canadian Tax Journal. After completing his summer articles at a national firm in Ontario, Cameron made the move to Vancouver where he articled at Boughton Law.
