Daphne G. Chu

Daphne’s expertise lies in corporate and securities law, with a specialization in capital market transactions and business law issues. She has extensive experience in equity and debt financings, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial agreements, and corporate reorganizations. Daphne is also known for providing ongoing advice to public and private companies on matters related to corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and various other compliance issues.

Prior to joining Boughton Law, Daphne worked at several boutique law firms in Vancouver that specialized in tax and estate law, as well as corporate finance and securities law. She provided invaluable guidance to clients on personal and corporate tax planning, business succession, estate planning, and trust matters. Additionally, she served as a judicial law clerk at the Tax Court of Canada.

In her free time, Daphne enjoys running, hiking, and traveling.
