James is Counsel and is part of Boughton’s Real Estate Group.  James maintains a solicitor’s practice and has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of real estate, corporate/commercial and business law.

James’ real estate practice has grown from representing clients on the acquisition and disposition of residential and commercial properties to representing developers on real estate projects, including land acquisition and assembly, project financing, development, leasing and disposition.  James provides clients with innovative and strategic advice on every aspect of their real estate projects.

James also maintains an active corporate/commercial and business law practice and advises clients on the incorporation of companies and the structuring of their investments.

James’ broad legal experience is supplemented by his language skills as he is fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese.
