Janice is an associate practising in the areas of corporate and commercial law. She advises clients and assists senior counsel on a wide range of business matters, including corporate governance, incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. Janice has experience providing advice to emerging and established businesses on operational and transactional issues, including negotiating shareholder disputes and advising on financing, licensing, and employment matters.
Janice earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies at Yale University, and a Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Boughton Law, Janice completed her articles at a leading national law firm and practiced corporate commercial law at a business law firm.
