Moon is both a lawyer and a Chartered Professional Accountant. He practices in the areas of Taxation and Corporate Law with a focus on tax planning, succession and estate planning, reorganizations, dispute resolution, and tax-related corporate and commercial matters.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Moon spent several years with the Audit Division of Canada Revenue Agency. This experience, coupled with his legal and accounting background, has provided Moon with a unique perspective on evidence analysis, issue spotting, and strategic planning when representing clients in the resolution of taxation disputes.
Moon earned his law and his business degrees from the University of Alberta. As part of his program of study in law, he attended the law school at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) on a one-year exchange. Moon has taught personal and corporate taxation at the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business.
