Mark C. Canofari, Esq. has extensive litigation experience and has appeared in all British Columbia Courts: Appeal, Supreme, Provincial and Federal, as well as, working nationally on cases in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec.
The practise areas that Mr. Canofari works in are: insurance (defence and plaintiff), commercial litigation (predominantly corporate defence), estate and strata litigation.
Over his career he has represented Governments, Fortune 500 and predominantly regional companies throughout British Columbia in matters including: class actions, shareholder matters, derivative actions, trust claims, contractual interference, leases, employment and corporate / commercial disputes.
Representation has also worked with the United States, Republic of China (Taiwan) and British Columbia governments.
Additionally, Mr. Canofari has worked as an educator by presenting to the Justice Institute of British Columbia and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Over the course of his career he has worked both unrepentantly and as co-counsel on many more complex litigation matters, including the Air India Bombing case.
