Leslie Whittaker


Leslie is a commercial litigator and employment lawyer. She represents a broad range of clients working in tech, health professions, food & beverage, mining, energy, non-profit societies and indigenous communities.

Leslie advocates for clients in all levels of court in British Columbia and various administrative tribunals, including the Employments Standards Branch, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Information & Privacy Commission.

In employment law, Leslie assists businesses of all sizes with all aspects of the employment relationship, from hiring to termination and everything in-between, from contract and policy drafting to workplace investigations and dispute resolution. She also advises on independent contracting arrangements and employment considerations in business transactions.

Leslie has presented at the CPHR (Charter Professionals in Human Resources) Annual Conference and for the Vancouver chapter of Young Women in Business, and has provided commentary on emerging employment law issues on the CBC and local radio.

Leslie has professional training in theatre, including stage combat. In her spare time, she does cold water plunges and seeks out sunsets from BC’s mountaintops.
