At Boughton, we know lasting change begins by standing behind the initiatives we believe in. Through our Advocates for Community Transformation (ACT) program we empower our professionals to lead the change they want to see.
Recently, we sat down with Associate Sterling Hillman to learn about his support for the Moose Hide Campaign— A BC-born, Indigenous led movement dedicated to ending violence towards women and children. Established more than a decade ago along the Highway of Tears, the campaign has grown into a national call to action. With over 5 million Moose Hide pins distributed across Canada, the campaign continues to spark engagement, conversation, and action against gender-based violence.
Wearing a Moose Hide pin represents a personal commitment to ending violence against women and children. As Sterling shared, “wearing the Moose Hide pin reminds me I have a duty to be an ally, not just in words, but in actions.” His message reflects the campaign’s mission, making a conscious choice to stand up, speak out, and help drive lasting change.
