Fred Troen

Fred is a litigator with a broad civil practice. He frequently advises clients on litigation issues arising in the context of commercial contracts, construction, real estate transactions, and shareholder disputes, and also has experience advising on defamation, creditors’ remedies, and wills and estates.

Fred has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and has wide-ranging trial experience. He is focused on reaching practical solutions and has represented clients at various alternative dispute resolution procedures, including arbitrations and mediations.

Prior to joining Boughton, Fred completed his articles at a national law firm and practiced at a leading regional law firm.
