Harsh Kang, articling student at Boughton Law

Harsh joined Boughton Law as a summer student in 2022 and returned for her articles in 2023. Upon completing her articles, Harsh joined the firm as an associate in the litigation group and practices primarily in estate litigation and commercial litigation.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Harsh completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at the University of the Fraser Valley. Following her undergraduate studies, Harsh obtained her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in 2023. While in law school, Harsh remained an active member of the community at Thompson Rivers University, serving as the Co-President of the Society of Law Students and holding executive roles in various student organizations. During her third year of law school, Harsh worked with the TRU Community Legal Clinic, which aims to improve access to justice by providing legal assistance to low-income residents in the BC Interior.

Prior to law school and joining Boughton, Harsh was a legal assistant for five years and gained valuable experience working in private practice and in the regulatory sector.

Harsh is fluent in Punjabi.
