Mary Lay

Mary is a member of our corporate and commercial group. With over ten years’ legal experience across a range of industries and jurisdictions Mary brings a broad depth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She has a collaborative approach with both colleagues and clients to increase legal efficiencies and maximize productivity.

Prior to joining Boughton Law, Mary practiced as in-house counsel to a multi-national energy company and for Alberta’s largest municipality, providing advice on infrastructure projects, land and resource development. Her experience has enabled her to work across a broad spectrum of legal areas including, commercial real estate, supply chain, environmental and regulatory to name a few.
