Boughton Law’s Website Awarded LMA Your Honor Award

When winter tightens its grip around North America, the marketing competition heats up. In December of every year, law firms from the US and Canada submit their best marketing projects in 11 different categories and face a rigorous judging process by the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). The LMA looks for the answers to tough questions such as: What differentiates the project from the competition? How did the project fit into the larger goals of the firm? How was ROI determined?

This year, we brought our best foot forward and entered the race with our Uniquely West Coast website. With success! We are proud to announce our 2nd place win in the Website category of the Your Honor Awards.

Features such as a responsive design that ensures user-friendliness on every device and a smart content architecture convinced the judges. Most likely, selecting bold and distinctive West Coast images and doubling the amount of unique visitors to the website within a year of the relaunch didn’t hurt either.

While we bow our heads to all other entries and especially the winner of our category (an international law firm with 900 lawyers), we cannot wipe the smile from our faces that a mid-sized regional law firm from Canada made it among the big guns.

From our shortlist ranking among the Top 10 Best Law Firm Websites of 2013 by lawyerist.com to overwhelming positive client feedback, our website and brand continues to resonate with all our stakeholders. Thank you LMA for confirming that we are heading in the right direction.
