Boughton Law one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers

Boughton Law is proud to announce the firm has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2023.

“We’re thrilled to receive this award,” says Boughton Law COO Shantela Blaeser. “It’s an honour to be recognized alongside so many extraordinary Canadian businesses.”

In its 10th year, Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers shines a light on some of the best workplaces in the country. Recognizing companies with forward-thinking HR policies, the award evaluates companies across 8 different criteria, ranging from benefits to community involvement.

“One of the reasons we’re so excited about this award is because it recognizes our commitment to our team, clients, community and values,” explains Blaeser. “Often times, law firms are evaluated by the prominence or size of their cases. While those accolades are important, and we have received our share over our nearly 75 year history, it’s special to be recognized for our people-focussed approach, not just the professional work we do for our clients.  We are very grateful.”

Rooted in Vancouver since 1949, Boughton Law boasts a team of over 120 lawyers and professionals, offering the robust resources of larger firms, while maintaining the team-oriented environment you’d find at a smaller practice.
