Hannah is an associate in our Vancouver litigation practice in the areas of family law and general civil litigation. Having successfully represented clients in mediations, case conferences, chambers applications, and trials in both Supreme ad Provincial court, Hannah’s approach to law includes a focus on resolving disputes outside of court.
Hannah obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall at York University, where she completed the Mediation Intensive Program by mediating Toronto Housing and Small Claims court disputes at St. Stephen’s Community Mediation Clinic. As part of Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project, Hannah assisted self-represented litigants in filling out court forms and drafting affidavits at the busiest family courthouse in Canada. Hannah’s intake and domestic violence screening work at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic provided much-needed legal assistance to women who have experienced violence.
Hannah brings a special knowledge of innovation and access to justice to her practice, gained working for the Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution as a Research Fellow. Special areas of interest for Hannah include family violence and children’s rights.
Currently, Hannah co-chairs the Canadian Bar Association Unbundled Legal Services section, is an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association Children’s Law Section, and is a member of the BC Family Law Unbundling Roster. In her free time, Hannah enjoys cycling, gardening, hiking, cooking, photography and artistic activities.
