Boughton Law is proud to announce the firm has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2024.
This is the second year in a row the company has received this recognition and marks the firm’s second employment award of 2024—following the firm’s BC’s Top Employers award in February.
“Congratulations to our entire team on this most recent award,” says Boughton Law COO Shantela Blaeser. “Once again, the firm finds itself among an extraordinary group of Canadian businesses.”
This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers award, shining a light on some of the best workplaces in the country. Recognizing companies with forward-thinking HR policies, the award evaluates companies across 8 different criteria, ranging from benefits to community involvement.
“This award is particularly important to the firm,” explains Blaeser, “because it recognizes our continued commitment to our team and our efforts in fostering an engaging and aligned team culture.”
The Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers award is yet another accolade for the 75-year-old firm, following such recent milestones as its Chambers Canada ranking and BC’s Top Employers award.
Rooted in Vancouver since 1949, Boughton Law boasts a team of over 120 lawyers and professionals, offering the robust full-service resources of larger firms, while maintaining the team-oriented environment you would find at a smaller practice. Additionally, the firm’s partnership with Meritas—a Chambers-ranked network of independent firms—extends its reach and resources globally.
